Visiting Ukraine Not Worth the Trouble

Don't bring any cash with you in or out of Ukraine through Kiev Borispol airport, or Ukrraine customs will confiscate it from you. July 14, 2005 customs at Borispol airport international departures confiscated $2900.00 USD cash from me because I did not fill out a departures currency declaration form. I only had the completed arrivals declaration form. I had the cash with me for an extended visit to Russia, to Buryatiya. I was on vacation in Crimea and stoped over one night in Kiev.
I found Ukrainians to be extremely reserved and very unfriendly. They don't want any American visitors and they don't like Russians either.
