: "You just took the side of heavily anti-Ukrainian people around you without considering another opinion"
You have common for Sevastopol misconception about nationalist and patriotism. Been oppose reunification of Ukraine with Russia is not a nationalism. Verbal abusing of person who speaks another language is nationalism and I met it almost everywhere in some degree include Crimea when Russian speaking people increasingly unfriendly toward Ukrainian speaking people .

: In Ukraine, Ukrainian nationalism has been defined for only one ethnic group and leaves out the others, it's not a unifying force, just the opposite. I consider nationalism to be anti-Ukrainian, being Ukrainian should not be based on ethnicity, this is ethnic chauvinism.

You are right. You forgot to mention that the same kind of nationalism (Chernosotenci) exists in Russia as well. That’s common plague of man kind. Because of Russia is bigger than Ukraine, Russian nationalism can easily overwhelm Ukrainian. Russia and Ukraine should be two friendly independent denouncing nationalism states. Old soviet passport contained information about nationality of passport’s bearer. Ukraine stopped this practice in early nineties.

: The misfortunes that befell your family happened to everyone here in Ukraine, some were Jews, some Tatars, some Greeks, some German, and on and on, most of these events happened to people throughout Russia/Soviet Union, the result of despots both foreign and domestic.

In Moscow and Leningrad situation was not as bad as in Ukraine. People tried to go to Moscow to buy some food. This practice continued well into late eighties.

: I don't count my postings here as an "achievement", they are words and not actions, just a way for me to pass the time in ENGLISH, and achieve a cathartic release of pent-up emotions, which is probably why you post here as well, but since you are being critical of me and my achievments, which I admit are modest, would you mind filling me in on any of the positive things you have done for Ukraine???

It doesn’t matter what I say here it will be the only declaration. We lived in Ukraine and we left behind a lot. I don’t really understand how you can run business posting here around the clock.
