WRONG! You are the one who needs to read history. Blame communism, Russia, everyone but yourselves is the mentality of the Ukrainian diaspora. It is documented many times in history that internal strife opens up opportunities from other countries for domination. The Kyiven Rus princes were jealous about each other, leading up to the sacking of Kyiv from the prince at Novgorod of Kievan Rus. Further weakness continued and left Kiev defenseless from the Mongols. There was no organized army to fight them. There was a change of government 3 times in 1917,1918,1919 because the Rada couldn't agree on how to build the country after Ukrainian independence. There are many other examples in Ukrainian history.

: Whose history are you reading? It has not been due to internal divisions but EXTERNAL forces from aggressive, empire building neighbors looking at Ukraine's geography as their own playground.
