Of course, she wants to run independently for President and in order to do so she needs to be as an independent. So Yuschenko and her must divide paths - how to accomplish this? If she quits, then she is walking out on him and this is not goood for her image. But if she gives him no other option but to fore her and then she come across as a "martyr". And she can play the poor, put upon, but I only wanted what's best for Ukraine ... and run independently for President.
Anyone who sleeps in their office is not to be appaluded but derided - either she is a control freak or a bad manager who does not trust that things will run without her properly.
