The news story states that the Ombudsman denies the story that 300 babies were stolen from Kharkiv. She then brings up the question regarding the welfare of Ukrainian children which have been adopted.

Just as the maternity hospital person has denied the story regarding the 3 newborns (see Developing story which I posted August 30th).

No this will not go away. The truth will come out because of European investigators (had it been Russian investigators - yes the story would stop and end here - with a yes, we investigated, and authorities denied, ...) and although the Ombudsman did bring up a good point [the state of adoptees - a few years ago - I know of one contry which had been blacklisted from the intl adoption process by Ukraine officials (with good cause)] - it is MUDDYING the waters and attempt to refocus the investigation.

The European investigators are investigating based on people's statements and reports (valid evidence true) BUT to my knowledge - there is no supporting evidence (such as documentation, pictures, ...) and no one has come forward from inside these maternity hospitals to give evidence (with the presence of the officials I hope that people will feel safe enough to come forward.)

None of these officials (hospital, Ombudsman, ...) want to go to jail (it is called C.Y.A.) - and of course they are going to do what they can do avoid it. And the European officials are well versed in pursuing investigations and they are well versed in the stumbling blocks which individuals will place in their path. But to say "obstacles that government ..." is reckless on your part.

MTL - you are NOT helping by deliberately twisting and warping what is going on and what is being said in order to further your own agenda - which is why you did not quote from the piece but re-wrote it.
