You must have me confused with some other "Hetman" because I do not write in capitals -- much. Only when confronted by incredulously uniformed people trying to pass off their "knowledge" as fact; and that usually occurs with the srakas and kurvas on AOL the majority of whom harbor anti-Ukrainian feelings. But I digress.
Yes, we all should do what we can; sometimes we become too complacent. As a (native) New Yorker I know what a catastrophe of that magnitude does to people (albeit the one we had was man made)and that was my motivation. FYI, I spoke with Chuck Schumer's office and Hillary Clinton's office today and I also placed a call to Gary Ackerman (my Congressman) as well. I was told that all would be voting for the aid package.
