what laws are you referring to?
she was not a member of the military and so the following does not apply - "The Uniform Code of Military Justice does not specifically prohibit adultery, but it does contain a provision, Article 134, prohibiting "all disorders and neglects to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the armed forces [and] all conduct of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces . . . ."
in regards to civilian law -
Correct me if I am wrong but only 24 states have anti-adultery laws on the books and California is not one of them.
here is the kicker -
The Supreme court wrote the Lawrence v. Texs opinion with the principle holding that the government has no legitimate business interfering with the private consensual conduct of consenting adults which could invalidate state laws prohibiting adultery - meaning they may not even be Constitutional!
