Her case has nothing to do with La Strada because she was not forced into prostitution. She was a willing participant in her quest for green card and material luxury. In the end, she got more than she bargain for.
Nobody put a gun on her head to force her to marry 50 years old Mr. Singerman and immigrate to USA. Nobody forced her to lie to her husband and to commit adultery with a 59 years old millionare.
She did it to herself with her lies, manipulation, calculation...
