Petunia, to make this kind of a statement about Mark Seidner, and being around the forums since last October is irresponsible.
That means you don't understand a lot. To point out that Jews, and in particular, Soviet-era Jews almost genetically accuse Ukrainians of being nazis and facists, the minute we open our mouths in Ukrainian, and practice our ancient traditions is not an exaggeration. That issue is at the heart of the misunderrstanding between Ukrainians and Jews. Just try to suggest that nationalistic Israel and Jews who speak Hebrew there, and celebrate their old traditions are nazis and facists because of that. Yet that is exactly what many Jews say about Ukrainians. It is no crime to talk about this issue and it's not anti-semitic. Perhaps Jews will learn to understand that Ukrainians, (and other Eastern Europeans) do not appreciate one bit, when Jews call them nazis and facists when all they want is to be Ukrainians. We need to speak out, and not be act like total sheep.
