Doesnt' E-bay provide some kind of assurances about the transactions? If so, then the seller may well have been on the up-and-up, yet something else could have gone wrong. Ukraine1972 is correct in suggesting that there are too many uncertainties - in this case, the problem may have occurred at the post office. I've heard too many stories about lost packages.
Then again, I've also heard on the news that the E-bay website has been used by unscrupulous dealers.
Maybe someone in Ukraine will be good enough to confirm the telephone number for Soeharto. I hope he finds his computer, or gets his money back.
: I just read your posting. The question I have to ask is how well do you know this Alexey guy? You bought a computer from Ukraine? Why didn't you buy one from America through a recognized dealership? I'm not trying to cast any judgements but it seems you might have been taken for a ride. Let's hope I'm wrong and that your computer arrives. But I would not recommend readers on this board buying computers in this manner. There's too much corruption in Ukraine at this time to take such a risk.
