In short:
: (1) The roots of the Rusyn language are in the Old Slavonic language that goes back to time of Sts. Cyril and Methodius. This has been claimed for more than a century by a number of linguists such as Luchkaj, Latta, and Sidor who new very well the Rusyn language. Similarity of languages has absolutely nothing to do with an identification of an ethnicity or a nationality. A particular language question was used and abused by J.V. Stalin, as a criterion for a nation. His aim was a totalitarian empire not people, and not nations. This criterion, a language, has never been validated in the history of Mankind for a definition of an ethnicity or a nationality. According to your logic Slovaks would be Czechs, Macedonians would be Bulgarians and Croats would be Serbs.
(2) It is not true that there are other regions of Ukraine that would have so much exposure to Central, West and South Europe as Podkarpatska Rus (Transcarapthia). The influences on Transcarpthia were from Slovaks, Czechs, Poles, Austrians and Germans, Italians, Romanians, Hungarians (16% of population), Jewish people (14% of population). Historically, Podkarpatska Rus shared its fate with The Great Moravian Empire, Bulgarian Kingdom, Hungarian Kingdom, Austrians (Habsburgs), Austro-Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, USSR, and Ukraine.
(3)Regarding Mng. Avhustyn Voloshin, I am not claiming that Mng.Voloshin was as bad as Mng. Tiso of Slovakia. However, there are documents clearly indicating approval of Mng. Voloshin as a President for Podkarpatsjka Rus by Hitler's representative in Prague Mr.Henke. There are ample of evidence that Mng. Voloshin got protection from the most evil Nazi of the Third Reich, SS-Obengruppenfuhrer R. Heydrych during the Hitler’s Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. One cannot characterize it as a collaboration with Nazi's? Why? How do you describe this activity of Mng. Voloshin? Heroic?
Do you have the KGB documents about Mng. Voloshin from Moscow available?
I raised several questions in my previous comment to you. Can you answer at least some of them?
