: Siania,
I am not getting a Social Security check at this time. I have to wait another 10 years for that. I have a retirement pension from a private company here in the United States which is much greater than what Social Security would ever pay. This money can never be stopped, even after I die since my wife is my Soul Suvivor Beneficiary. She will continue to get my retirement pension until she dies. If you can, check for me different banks that have International Banking, Private Accounts. My wife is trying to do the same but her University teaching schedule gives her very little time. I also teach at the American Christian University in Simferopol. Thank you, Robert.
: Actually, I believe it's not yet legal to have your pension check transferred to Ukraine. Social Security Administration has been known to suspend SS checks. It's probably an old law on the books that hasn't been negotiated, and they turn the other cheek in most cases, but that's a risk you'd be taking. What you probably should do is have it deposited in the States, and then take withdrawals against it.
: As to which bank, maybe someone else can advise you.

: : I am an American Citizen married to a Citizen of Ukraine. We have been married for 7 years, very happily. I am also a Retiree receiving my pension from a US company. I intend living in Ukraine, but I need a responsible and reputive Bank to have my Pension Check deposited. Is there such a thing in Ukraine, and what banks may I inquire?
