Thanks for all your information

: Yes, we have a Ukrainian Dancing Group and its official name in Boston is called "Mandrivka." This year they had Ukrainian Dancing in the fall and they said maybe they will continue again in the Spring if people are willing to join.
: We also have Ridna Shkola (Ukrainian School)on Saturdays at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. (It used to always be in the Catholic church, but they recently moved about a month ago to the Orthodox Church, renting their facilities now.)

: : Thanks for the information.
: : Are there any Ukrainian schools in Boston?

: : : : Does anybody know if there is an Ukrainian community in Boston?

: : : Yes there is a Ukrainian Community in Boston, there are two churches in Jamaica Plain and they are about 4 miles away from each other, Christ the King Ukrainian Catholic Chruch and St. Andrew's Ukrainian Orthodox Chruch. We also have the Ukrainian Fraternal federal credit Union, two branches. They use the churches' facilities for their offices. The main office is in the Catholic church and the branch office is in the Orthodox church. We also have a PLASTOVA STANYCIA(Ukrainian Scouting Organiztion), its not as big as others, but still as active. CYM used to be very active in Boston but it has faded away because there isnt much youth joining it because they sold their CYMIVSKA DOMIVKA. Our Ukrainian Community is small in Boston even though i heard that about 10,000 Ukrainians live in or around Boston. Most people coming to my church live very far away from the church because for a lot of people, it takes an half hour or hour etc. or so to get there. So if you are Ukie and want to come to Boston, we welcome you and you can join one of our parishes if you want to. The more people we have active in the Ukrainian Community, the better.
