HEADLINE: Ukrainians remember famine
The Ukrainian community of Greater Cleveland will have a candlelight vigil Monday to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the famine that devastated Ukraine in 1932 and 1933. People are invited to gather at 5:30 p.m. outside of the Ukrainian Museum, 1202 Kenilworth Ave., on the north side of Lincoln Park in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood. The museum's current exhibit details the catastrophe Ukrainians call Holodomor, "murder by starvation."
