Bohdan seems to be a very intelligent and eloquent person however mistaken. An assertive program of Ukrainianization within the school system and all systems (just like Russification was implemented but in reverse)would be the most effective way to most quickly unify/strengthen the country. It is the enemies of Ukraine who wish Ukraine to remain devided and conquered.The history of Mohila University in Kiev is an example of (Ukrainian language) one of the finest schools in the world. During Soviet times (Rusification)jobs were first given to Russians, if there was no Russian then a Russian speaker got the job. The Russian got free housing The Ukrainian was lucky to even get substandard housing that he had to pay for (in his own country!). If strict preference and higher pay was given to the Ukrainian language for school and all institutions then Ukrainian would quickly overcome .Ukrainian is a beautiful language while Russian is a gruff language just ask any ,English,German, French, Spanish or speaker of any other language in the world to compare and they all will say that Ukrainian is a much nicer language than Russian. In fact it used to be when Ukrainian was heard in America the Ukrainian speaker was often asked if it is a "high" Russian dialect.But in Ukraine the Russians taught that Ukrainian was a lesser language but in truth the Ukrainian language is superior in many ways. It seems that Mr. Bohdan is a victim of Russification even in America.
