Good luck with your book. Odds are pretty good that he took a train from Rivne to Lviv... and then to Warsaw and from there to Rotterdam... but then again you never know... he may have taken a train from Rivne to Riga (just kidding) to Warsaw to Rotterdam... or maybe even from Rivne to Lviv to Praha to Frankfurt to Rotterdam....but most likely in 1909 he probably took the most direct root...Lviv to Vienna to Rotterdam....
