He significantly contributed to slovakization of Rusyns by the forced ukrainization. This was the Stalin’s and Ukrainian Bolsheviks' official policy that Rusyns in Slovakia have to be Ukrainians. Take in consideration that the first teachers of Rusyn language will be graduating in two years. They number are increasing every year. On the other hand, the Ukrainian language teachers are unemployed because there are no students.
