I am looking for any Ukranian-American Organizations that offer scholarships to Ukrainian Nationals to come to the USA for college studies.
I am the Band Director at a high school in the Western part of South Carolina. This past year my wife and I co-hosted a young lady from the Karkiv School for the Blind through the State Department FLEX program. She is being offered a partial scholarship at a college here in SC to return to study music as she is a gifted pianist, arranger and composer of music. She has asked us for assistance as she deperatly wants to return to the USA. Her GPA here last year was a 4.0. Combined with her scores from her school in Karkiv she has a solid 3.98 GPA. She is planning on taking the SAT this fall if it is offered in Karkiv and accomidations are available as she is blind. Our Church her is willing spearhead a drive to cover the costs of her transportation and health insurance.
