I agree that if one wants to have some future for his/her kid, their should learn English rather than Russian. Of course, to know Russian doesn’t hurt, as to know any other language but that doesn’t mean to deny your own national identity. And as always, it is matter of choice to parents what language they want to use in their family. I don’t understand why some people like MISTER Jerry here would like to impose their view on such an important issue as national language. Your statement is based on conclusion that any small nation should replace their native language with the language of a bigger/stronger. Why don’t Russians speak English then? USA is much stronger than Russia…
