That makes about as much sense as these:
The same way that Slovaks are and should be understood as Czechs?
The same way that Macedonians are and should be understood as Greeks, or Bulgarians?
The same way that Croatians are and should be understood as Serbians, or Slovenes?
The same way that Yiddish is and should be understood as German?
The same way that Austrian is and should be understood as German?
The same way that Kurdish are and should be understood as Turkish?
I guess that the jury is out. If Rusyns are and should be understood as Ukrainians, then the preceeding is also true. Wait until I tell my Croatian friends that they are really Serbs and should be understood as Serbs.
