U.S. Department of State, Bureau of European Affairs in its "Background Notes: Russia" reports as of May, 2000: Ukrainians living in Russia - 3% of total population of 147.5 million (1997 est.)
They don't report how many Ukr. schools are there.
I heard that there are ZERO Ukrainian schools in Russia. Is it true? Can't believe!
I know there is one Ukr. school in Tbilisi, Georgia. Is Russia so much behind Georgia in it's democratic development?
