Are Hutsuls, Boykos, Lemkos, Bukovyna people all called Rusyns? Let me know.
If not, do you think that Ukr. goverment doesn't want to get into chain reaction recognizing each of them separately while the state structures are not strong and fifth column is still so powerful?
: Bolshevik party of Ukraine in 1924 declared that Rusyn nationality is anti-progressive and Rusyns have to be Ukrainians. This was implamented by a brutal force. Current Ukraine keeps supporting this criminal policy instituted originally by the Ukrainian Bolsheviks. Although there is a big difference in magnitude of tragedies, but if this policy of the Ukrainian Bolsheviks towards the Rusyns is currently acceptable, why should be rejected so strongly the policy leading to collectivization and consequently to Holodomor?
If it's true what are you saying, than these descendants of bolsheviks sooner or later have to change their policy. They don't want to be bothered right now with anything else than accumulating dachas, foreign accounts and grabbing as much as they could.
