Rusyn nationality is accepted in every country where Rusyns live but Ukraine.
Bolshevik party of Ukraine in 1924 declared that Rusyn nationality is anti-progressive and Rusyns have to be Ukrainians. This was implamented by a brutal force. Current Ukraine keeps supporting this criminal policy instituted originally by the Ukrainian Bolsheviks. Although there is a big difference in magnitude of tragedies, but if this policy of the Ukrainian Bolsheviks towards the Rusyns is currently acceptable, why should be rejected so strongly the policy leading to collectivization and consequently to Holodomor?
I thought that the value of human life is the same whether involves a Rusyn, a Ukrainian, a German or a Russian etc. Now, you are telling me that it is not true. Thanks to letting me know.
Ukraine is truly a civilized European country.
