: It was primarily Poles that committed atrocities against Ukrainians on Ukrainian land.
Based on your opinion ??? Show me facts. I showed you that UPA used 136 methods of torture against Polish population,, killed 220.000 Poles, they were even worse than Ustasha in Croatia. At the bottom of that page there is a picture of Polish children nailed to a tree by UPA beasts. In one of those villages alone they slaughered over 100 Polish children.
>While both sides were cruel to eachother >Ukrainians were attempting to expell invading >Poles.
What both sides ? I showed your Ukrainian cruely, show me proof that Poles were cruel to Ukrainians. Show me that Poles killed 220.000 Ukrainians and used 136 methods of torture.
>Przemysl for example is a Ukrainian city that >is now a part of Poland. Even the Polish >government recognizes the UPA as legitimate. >There are many monuments to the heroism of the >UPA in Poland.
Wrong, half of current Ukraine is Polish territory, Ukraine has Polish cities such as Lwow, Kamieniec Podolski, Slanislawow etc. Everything there was created by Poles, show me what Ukrainians built there, I dare you. All these places were granted city rights by Poles and based on Polish law.
UPA was always considered a bandit organization in Poland and it was dealt with by the Polish miliatary in 1945-1947. There are cemetaries in Poland to UPA, there are also cemetaries where Germans and Russians are burried. Poland is a civized christian nation and pays respects to all dead people regardless of their past deeds and ethnic origin. In Ukraine this concept is still uknown (hence blocking the opening of Polish Eagles Cemetary)
: : Here are your UPA "heroes". They slaughtered 220.000 Polish civilians, devised over 136 (!!!) types of tortures (even beating NKVD's 46 methods of torment). UPA beasts were rewarded with vodka and food by their superiors depending on how much pain they could inflick on their victims.
