I do not blame you for leaving the country. I appreciate the role of diaspora in the Soviet days, and I am proud of my people who did not want to forget that they are Ukrainians even though they were thousands miles away from home.
I just do not want you to blame new emigrants for emigrating, because having lived all your life in the West you do not have the slightest idea about the rules of the game in a post-soviet society.
However good their education is, it is useless at home because you cannot make a decent living out of it. Besides, you are wrong to suggest that the people who are getting rich now, can do this because they are better educated. Their education is limited to knowing the ways how to use the situation to their advantage. They have no moral principles because they did not need them in Komsomol, do you know what Komsomol means?
