This region is facing ecological disaster. Subcarpatia can potentially end up with mountains composed only of rocks. Nowhere in Europe the well-known slogan “If forests die we die” is more valid than in Subcarpathia. Or do you consider “…romantychnyj obraz…” the fact that there are ten job seekers per one position in Mukachevo, the area with highest number of industrial enterprises in this province? What about the other regions of Subcarpathia, if it is so bad in Mukachevo? What is the unemployment in Subcarpathia, 40 - 50%? How can a retired person with pension of $30 per month (if he/she gets it) to survive? I wish that this super harsh reality would be only my “…romantychnyj obraz …”.

Zherstoka realnist’…” is that you have 16 million Russians in Ukraine and 83% of energy (oil and gas) for Ukraine are coming either directly from Russia or through its territory. Ukrainian economy is consuming far more energy than it can produce products of the same value.
“Zherstoka realnist’…” is that government authorities of Ukraine brushed of the problem of AIDS and reality is that this country currently has 250 000 HIV-1 positive individuals in productive age (from 18 to 55year old). Furthermore, the rate of increase of the virus-infected people in Ukraine is comparable to the rate currently observed in Subequatorial Africa with highest incidence of AIDS.
Do you need a very long list of “…zherstoka realnist’…” from Ukraine or Subcarpathia?
