Chernivtsy people's association Narodna Dopomoga(Public Support)applies to you for the possibility of getting financial aid for realization of the project of social rehabilitation for the homeless.
The association Narodna Dopomoga works with the homeless since 1998.
The main objective of the project is social and psychological adaptation of the homeless. The organization's activity is based on voluntary impulse of the staff and presupposes the homeless' assistance in their motivated steps to normal life.
The target group is supposed to be provided with the following services :
1. hot meals ;
2. possibilities to keep personal basic hygienic norms like bathrooms, laundry, provision with second hand clothes etc ;
3. medical care provided by a general practitioner and a trained nurse including medical examination, provision with necessary medicaments etc ;
4. psychologist's assistance including psychological trainings and consultations etc ;
5. lawyer's assistance including juridical consultations, lost documents renewal, job rehabilitation, temporary or constant lodging's seeking etc;
6. temporary night's lodging service.
The city of Chernivtsy has given agreement to finance the project partially ($10576.73 for the project realization during a two-year term). The association's payment ( with the help of private and corporational sponsors of Chernivtsy ) for the project realization during a two-year term equals $10000. The general budget equals $145000. Money needed for the project's realization launch is $124423.27.
On a given level the association Narodna Dopomoga is actively seeking for potential sponsors and partners for the project's realization.
