OPTIMISM IS KEY!
The truth is that there is no perfect government in the world, no perfect country to live in. Each one, including the ones that are considered to be more democratic, more advanced, is struggling to get better. And the struggles oftentimes turn ugly. Ukraine has a golden opportunity right now - no one ever thought it would be easy to get to this point, nor did anyone think it would be easy to hold on to it. But negative thinking will not help, and you have to believe that things will get better.
Most sober predictions about Ukraine's future indicated at least a generation would pass before Ukraine saw an upswing in economic terms, and associated with that are advances in democracy. It has been not quite 11 years since independence. Give it another 10 before you make your judgements. And in the meanwhile, think POSITIVE!
: Ukraine will never be free. Even though we have a piece of paperstating it, how can a country progress when there are people in the parlimentincluding the president himself who try to do everything but help Ukraine.
