Although I am born and raised in Germany my family roots are in the Ukrain. Most of my family died in de II World War.
As they lived in the Tschernigow area...
Grandfather Nikolaj Boyko born 1863, served at 31. Riga Dragonerbattallion in Leningrad, fought in the Japan-War and died in Charkow.
Grandmother Nina Step. v. Wassiliew and my Grandmother Elisabeth v. Boyko came to Germany.
Do anybody know anything about that family ?
