A lot of people in USA does not know English. But they learn little by little. In Southern States lots of people came from Mexico and they don't know English, but they are learning. There is no Spanish official language in USA. ITs all bs.

: Dear Alex,
: Not everybody in the USA speaks English. In some Southern states Spanish is acknowledge as official language. I am trying to say that according to Europian standards all the major ethnic groups are ganted the right to use their mother tounge at some levels of the state infrasructure in their region. I am sure you understand what it means not be able to use your own langugae since not long ago boht of us had ot use another language. Through history it has been proved to be right that the oppressed become the best oppressors. I am trying to say that the state of the Ukraine should not follow such pattern.
: : Russia has more than 100 different nationalities in their country, but they make everyone speak RUSSIAN. America has millions of nationalities in their country, but they make everyone speak ENGLISH. SO WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY???????????

:
: : : May I make a proposal? I have been making some efforts to follow the discussion about the languages in the Ukraine. I think Ukraine is a multicultural country. Only the nationalist deny that and try to build up a new "pure" Ukraine. I am from the Ukraine and I consider myself to be Hungarian. The only slavic language I am relatively familiar with is Russian. It is not fair to say that from now on everybody should speak Ukrainian. I would love to use my mother tounge but using Russian is helpful too. Let us start this ukranian muticultural reconsiliation on the this page and use English.
