Convicted of money laundering in Swiss court; confiscated $6.6 million, 18 mos. suspended sentence, credit for time served in the U.S. His attorney is Paul Gully-Hart. In Northern Calif. he faces charges of laundering $114 million allegedly stolen while in office; is imprisoned there since 2/99. Lazarenko was prime minister from 5/96 to 6/97.
