: You ar corect! All of them are Sharovarnyky and Serpomolotenky.
::: I don't share with you completely the same opinion because I noticed on this board several Ukrainians who also expressed positive and encouraging attitude towards Rusyns and people of Subcarpathia. I've got impression that the negativism towards Rusyns is harbored mainly by Ukrainians from Galicia. In my opinion, these Ukrainians in their nationalistic development are at the level where Hungarians had been 100 years ago. This kind of dangerous nationalism had been the basis of Nazism in many European countries.
Let us critisise them - if their country will fail, there will be a oportuniti for Rusins to create their own country Podkarpatskaya Rus.
::: First of all, I'm for constructive criticism, though it doesn't mean that I'm always good at it. Although, I don't think, that Ukraine should fail in order to create Pudkarpatsku Rus or Panonia. The question is how to create such conditions that potential of Rusyns and other ethnic groups (this includes also 55 000 Russians) in Subcarpathia can fully develop. I also think that this can take place very well within the frame of Ukraine. Ukrainians should be aware that if Russians fail in Russia than Ukrainians in Ukraine will have a very miserable life as well and similarly, if Ukraine fails than even the neighboring countries (Slovakia, Romania, Hungary etc.) will face economical difficulties. As you know income per capita is lowest and unemployment is highest in Subcarpathia as compared to other regions of Ukraine, and one of the reason is that Rusyn question is not addressed in a constructive way as it is currently in practice among members of EC. And everybody agrees that from economical point of view EC is very successful. Also, Ukrainians loudly claim that they want to be a civilized European country and be a member or at least, associated also with EC. By the way, Subcarpathia had its self-governing status during Habsburghs headed by Dobrianskij already in 1850. In addition with self-governing status, Subcarpathia had also experience with highly developed liberal democracy for 20 years as a part of Czechoslovakia from 1919 to 1939.
I my ochen' rado vam pompzhem...
::: Thank you, Rusyns need all the help what they can get. Of course, the most effective way would be, if the Ukrainians themselves give a hand to Rusyns. Ukraine needs diversity and not uniformity of Sharovarnykiv a Serpomolotenkiv.
