Here is where things get interesting. The pictures that Reuters and AP show indicate that the plane used is indeed a Russian-flagged airliner--the Russian flag is clearly visible on the fron top of the fuselage. There are only two airlines in the world which use these planes--one is based somewhere in Russia (and can clearly be considered a Russian plane) and the other is somewhere in the United Kingdom--which is probably an offshoot of the Antonov Design Bureau--and another example of how ukrainian assets has disappeared from Ukraine. Why is there no Antonov Airlines in Ukraine? But you see the confusion--the press doesn't care and we look stupid arguing that this is a Ukrainian plane because it has a Russian flag on it. Now the fact that it was DESGINED in Ukraine is a different story--but then there will be those who will say that it was designed in the USSR. In any event--this issue raises a whole host of problmes and concerns which will not be addressed in a country led by a president who doesn't know who he is and where he came from .
