The differences between the Greek/Russian/Serbian/etc ORthodox Church, and the Roman Catholic Church are the same as the differences between the so called 'Greek' Catholic Church and the Roman Catholic Church...WHERE DOES YOUR PAPAL ALLEGIENCE COME FROM? If that means deluding ORTHODOX christians (like you) into thinking your Catholic then fine, the pope has no problems.
You Fine Christians Retain all the rites of orthodoxy that THE VATICAN HAS CONEMNED AS WRONG, yet you feel comfort in the fact thata people call you catholic. If you allow the pope to control your NON Catholic church, then fine...that is your choice. Why, out of Curiosity must you bundle the word 'Greek' into your churches name. This deludes people into thinking there is 1. such a thing as a Greek Catholic....2. that there is a 'GREEK RITE' in the execution western christianity, a FALLACY.
What are we to believe, that the Pope has no problem with ALL THE ORTHODOX RITES YOU PERFORM IN YOUR CHURCH SERVICES? When the vatican calls eastern orthodox christians as 'WAY-WOARD SHEEP' who have lost tehre way, HE IS CALLING YOU THE SAME THING, because what you call 'greek catholic' is nothing more then a piece of eastern orthodoxy. When he insults EASTERN ORTHODOX HOLY TRADITION, he insults YOUR TRADITION.
You people are not catholics...the sooner you realize this the better off you'll be.
