: Both Poland and Russia were invaders. Do you not see the difference? As far as the Poles colonizers in Ukraine they were given the same choice as the Ukrainian children and grandparents leave because the village will burn. They chose to stay for the glory of the Polish army and invading Poland. It is ugly but it was "tit for tat". The Holodomor was genocide similar to the Holocaust because the people had no choice to stay or go.

Namely, when Ukrainian nationalists in the name of Soborna Ukraina, the second largest Slavic state, committed atrocities in Galicia against civil population because they happened to be Polish and not Ukrainians.
