Sounds like preventative medicine to me. What is the old holistic saying, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Certainly can't hurt anybody, and everybody is inconveinced in their own lives as it is. So what's one more inconvenience for the sake of an extra preventative measure to safeguard Ukraine?
America, which many seem to see as a sterling example, is full of corporations which will go to almost no end to safeguard themselves, just look at microsoft .
My point is, what is Ukraine but one vast corporation with Kuchma as the head.
Yes, sincere citizens form popular opinion, but this is largely germinated on a local level (and unfortunately this is affected by the conditions of one's life which in this case are of the difficult kind).
To affect change, an effort must be put forth on positive ideals from which the operational ideas that go into forming a secure non-corrupt police force (and customs officers) are formulated and put into action. Of a single ideal, the many ideas can foil the crime if put into action..
Rather than get in the way of Ukraine, ban together and form a security force with your friends to counter-act the negative incorrect distructive criticism that has been aimed at Ukraine. Rather than get in the way of progress, why not help it out where you can? It all starts with you, but you said this already, didn't you Slowko?
