Not only. Ukraine also is asking associate membership in the European Union which, in turn, requires membership in the World Trade Organization (WTO). Moldova, Georgia, Latvia, Estonia, Kyrgyzstan are already WTO members. After its disarmament, Ukraine needs membership in international organizations for security reasons as well.
