Middlebury is offering 100 fellowships, thanks to a gift from Kathryn
Davis (Kathryn Davis Fellowships for Peace: Investing in the Study of
Critical Languages) to address the need for increased language proficiency
in the United States.

The fellowship grants cover the full comprehensive fee (tuition, room and
board) at the Middlebury summer Language School to study from beginner to
graduate levels in Arabic, Chinese, Hebrew, Japanese, Portuguese and
Russian.

All DAVIS applications must be postmarked by February 1, 2010.
