[aaus-list] funds for shipping books to Ukraine's universities

Dear colleagues:

An alumnus who is a retired professor at a university here in Oregon 
would like to donate his extensive collection of academic books to a 
library in Ukraine. The books are mostly in English, Ukrainian, Polish, 
or Russian. They range across disciplines, but all are academic in 
nature. He estimates that there are around 30,000 titles. A university 
in Ukraine has expressed interest, but lacks funds to cover shipping costs.

Does anyone out there have any ideas regarding where to get funds to 
cover the shipping costs?
