European International Studies Association

Topics: The elections of the President of the CEEISA, who will serve
for the next three years, will take place no later than 31 January
2010. In accordance with the Charter, the elections will be conducted
by electronic ballot. The successful candidate will be free to
propose a new Secretary-General to the Executive Council, according
to Article 7/II of the CEEISA Charter. He or she will be encouraged
to discuss with the Executive Council arrangements that may be needed
to facilitate his or her work.

Eligibility: Who may be nominated: Any member of the CEEISA may
nominate a candidate; As a matter of principle, a nominee must be a
member of the CEEISA or in the process to become one; Nominations
must include candidate’s consent to his/her nomination. The consent
written and sent by e-mail is acceptable; He or she should be
enthusiastic about the work and mission of the CEEISA and have a
reasonable expectation of attending meetings of the CEEISA; A proof
of institutional support for carrying out his/her position as the
President of the CEEISA could be beneficial for the nominee.
