Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the publication of the new “Ukraina Moderna” issue no. 3(14), 2009. Its topic is: Marxism in the east of Europe.

Historians, philosophers, philologists deal with the problems of Marxism`s national variations; Marxist component in post-structuralism and studies of nationalism; explaining socialist planning; Polish Sovietology; Marxist schemes of Ukrainian history; British neo-Marxist historiography; the phenomena of Soviet philosophy etc.

Among the authors of our Volume are: Marko Bojcun, Heorhiy Kasianov, Ronald Grigor Suny, Aleksandr Dmitriev, Danuta Ulicka, Michael Ellman, Marek Kornat, Mykhailo Minakov, Stephen Velychenko, Tomasz Stryjek, Stanislav Kultschycky.
