Social Campaigns Forum; Ukraine 2009/2010
Call for partners: Invitation to cooperation within our project

The Other Space Foundation is currently looking for a German partner
that would like to realize a project Social Campaigns Forum Ukraine
2009/2010 together with us and our Ukrainian partners.

Social Campaigns Forum "Ukraine 2009/2010" (SCFU 2009/2010) is a
continuation of an international project, which aim is to provide
support in development of civic society in Ukraine. We want to obtain
this goal through:

-exchange of experience and good practices on social marketing, between
countries involved in the project,
- activation of local communities, by means of modern innovative local
social campaigns, referring to European and democratic subject matter;

Our project beneficiaries will be local activists and animators of
social marketing in Ukraine - representatives of mass media, NGOs,
advertising companies, business and local self-governments and
institutions connected with pro-European activities in Ukraine,
especially Local Centers of European Information.

In 2008 The Other Space Foundation, in cooperation with partners from
Poland and Ukraine, conducted "Contest for the best local social
campaign" in Ukraine. We were glad to receive a lot of interest among
Ukrainian activists. We had chosen 3 best projects and we supported
their realization (by institutional and financial means). This year
we plan to widen SCFU horizons by inviting a partner/partners from
Germany. Below you will find more specific information about our past
and future activities in frames of SCFU.


SCFU 2008

Main activities in 2008:

- Series of five seminars in Ukraine "How to conduct social campaigns -
methods of public activation by using marketing and mass communication
tools" (Ostrih, Vinnytsya, Sumy, Odesa, Lviv),
- Contest for the best local social campaign,
- Winning campaigns realization (study visit to Poland, expert
consultation, financial support, promotion),

We worked in partnership with several institutions: The Foundation
for Social Communication (Poland), Institute for Policy Studies
(Ukraine), Vinnytsia regional youth NGO "Nashe Podillia" (Ukraine),
Information Centre "Green Dossier" (Ukraine)

We helped in realization of 3 successful local social campaigns:
I have a right! Berdyansk,
Prevention of Child Abandonment in Kyiv region, Kiev region,
Ecological campaign Clear nature clear rest. Be a
good guest!", Kherson,

We have created a website: www.social-campaigns.org.ua

Duration of the project in 2008: 8 month, Budget: 150 000 PLN.

SCFU 2009/2010

This year's objectives:

- Enrich campaigns with a European Integration context
- Create communication and international good experience
exchange platform, for local activists and animators of social
marketing in Ukraine


Main activities:

1. "Contest for the best local social campaign" and best campaigns
conduction.
Winners will be granted with: participation in one week study visit in
Warsaw, financial and organizational support in campaign conduction,
advertising and methodic support.

2. Organization of a conference in Kiev best Polish, German and
Ukrainian social campaigns reviews, panel discussions, project summary
(best practices presentation)

3. Creating a multimedia internet portal on social marketing, showing
good practices form different countries


German partners:

We would like to start cooperation with a German non-governmental
organization, experienced in social marketing and social campaigns
conduction, interested in international cooperation and good practices
exchange.

Our proposition for German partners:

1.Jury membership in the contest
2.Taking part in study visit as specialists/trainers
3.Presenting German experience in social marketing during conference in
Kiev
