Thanks, Max, for telling us about Bohdan Hurko.  I didn't know of  
him, but should have.  We really should blow our horn more.  About 4  
or 5 years ago in Ukraine (!) I learned that a Ukrainian, Nick  
Holyniak, invented the light emitting diode, for Pete's sake.  LED is  
everywhere (not unlike the self-cleaning oven!)  I can't wait to tell  
my WASP-y friends, Hey, you like your self-cleaning oven?  Thank a  
Ukrainian, #%%$#@&^%.
