Dear  colleagues and friends!
The papers presented at the Conference held in Greifswald in September 2007,
supported and hosted by the "Alfried Krupp Wissenschafts Kolleg" under the
title "Is There a Third Way for Ukraine?", have finally appeared in
electronic form. The papers are authored by: H. Rothe, Ja. Hrytsak, M.
Pavlyshyn, T. Hundorova, A. Kratochvil, G. Brogi Bercoff, O. Myhed, M.G.
Bartolini. They are written  in English, Ukrainian, German, Italian. You
will find the Papers in pdf format and the Resumés  under the address:

The title of the publication is: *Scripta Ucrainica Europaea. *The files are
free for reading and printing, but they are protected by a copyright. You
are asked to give exact bibliographic reference to this publication if you
quote the papers.


By the occasion I remind you that the *"Ukrainicum Summerschool"* will soon
take place as usual in Greifswald. The dates are August 14-26. The
participation and board fees are about 250,00 Euros only (for students about
215,00). The program is extremely rich and the level of teaching high: this
year courses on Ukrainian history and literature in English, Ukrainian and
German will be held by Proff. Ja. Hrytsak, S. Plokhii, T. Hundorova, H.
Hryn. Other lectures and many events are forseen. You will find the details
