On Friday, January 23, 2009 at 8 p.m. the New York Philharmonic will  
perform a concert of music by Brahms which will include performances  
by Alexander Fedoriouk, cimbalom, and Eletfa Hungarian Folk Band.   
Besides the Brahms Serenade No. 1, the concert will feature the Brahms  
Hungarian Dances No. 4 and No. 5.  Alexander and Eletfa will provide  
folk music performances of the traditional Hungarian folk music upon  
which Brahms based his pieces.
