Dear Mr. Motyl,


I would like to introduce you the website www.GenderStudies-Ukraine.org  ,
founded in 2008.  The aim of the website is  to offer  a communication
platform between Ukrainian and foreign researchers in the field of 
womens´s and gender studies and also to inform the  international audience
about women's  and gender studies in Ukraine. Thus it will help to improve
cooperation and scientific exchange in the field of women's  and gender
studies between Ukraine and other countries.



The main menus of the website www.GenderStudies-Ukraine.org ("topics",
"researchers", "news" and "links") provide at the moment - in German und
Ukrainian - all the important  information which is necessery for
effective networking with Ukrainian  researchers. A topic catalogue with
the following  items  helps to find researchers in the respective fields, 
identify topics of  research, fields of interest and the various aspects
of gender studies in Ukraine: Women´s History, Gender Identity, Gender
Equality, Politics, Mass Media, Education, Ecology, Sexuality, Language,
Economics, Medicine, Male Gender Roles, Gender Stereotypes, Psychology,
Violence, Law. Literature, Philosophie, Arts, Clothing, and Sport.



In order to keep up with developing research, Ukrainian researchers in
women`s and gender studies can submit their publication list and further
scientific information with the help of a questionaire which can be
downloaded.



English and Russian versions are being planned.
