[aaus-list] List moderation and rules

To all AAUS-list members,

With regard to recent posts and comments on each others' putative 
infractions of the list and right to interact with this community: No 
more. For the time being, what can be said has been said.

We (the President, our host, and I) are finishing preparation for a 
change to the list and AAUS communications model. We need to finish 
our internal discussions (which have been extensive over the past few 
months), secure input and consent from the rest of the Executive, and 
work out a few technical questions. I will send out a series of 
messages related to this within the next few days. There will be a 
discussion period and then a vote (hopefully by acclamation) and then 
the change.

Until then, no commentary on other posters or the state of the list.
