You can remove yourself; you're sent a reminder each month with

Separately, in attempt to engage you to perhaps contribute something
meaningful to list discussions rather than just an announcement of your
annoyances, I would be interested in reading what the substance of your
protest consists of.

One of the books sought to be banned was Solzhenitsyn's One Day in the
Life of Ivan Denisovich, a description of an experience that was not just
limited to Russian-speaking people, but one which is depicted in Ukrainian
contexts as well.

There are other points of relevance, but I'll leave you with that one and
await a serious reply from you.
