This weekend Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland  
Institute of Music are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Joint  
Music Program.  There are many events over the weekend, but two of  
them might interest subscribers of this list.

Saturday, October 4, 2008
Harkness Chapel (11200 Bellflower Drive)

2:30 p.m.
Steve Greenman, violin and Alexander Fedoriouk, cimbalom perform a 20  
minute set

3:00 p.m.
Nadia Tarnawsky, vocals and bandura, Alexander Fedoriouk, cimbalom,  
Brandon Vance, violin, Mark Tomasic, dancer/choreographer, Catherine  
Meredith, dancer and Catherine L. Albers, actress perform an excerpt  
of "Ancestral Voices" (all the music is Ukrainian folk music)
