Yushchenko in Canada called Ukraine an economic phenomenon. Can anyone
clearly explain what makes Ukrainian economy an envy of the world? GDP
growth rates that fall far behind the rising costs of living in the
last 5-6 years?

One clearly phenomenal thing in Ukraine is the scale of deryban and
how Ukrainian society is able to sustain and tolerate it -- this
phenomenon will sure be long remembered as a part of Yushchenko's
presidential legacy.
